When you love being active, whether that's running, hiking, cycling or sport, niggles or lets call it what it is - pain can become something you just put up with.

Until it isn't.

It's getting worse.
It's limiting what you can do.
It's affecting your confidence.
It's taking the enjoyment out of the activities you love.

Or it's stopping you doing the things you love.

You're not looking for another quick fix.

You want a body you can trust.

Maybe you are already doing all the right things

Stretching.

Strengthening.

Planning your training.

Foam rolling.

Massage.

Ice baths.

Saunas.

Yet somehow you're still chasing problems around your body.

An ankle, a knee, back, or shoulder.

The next step is usually treatment.

Physio, Massage, Osteopathy, Sometimes injections.

And those things can absolutely help.

But they mainly focus on the painful area.

This workshop asks a different question....

Why has that area become the one that's struggling?

Because if we never answer that question, we can end up settling today's symptoms without changing the reason they keep appearing.

What to expect

This isn't a lecture.

And it isn't another exercise class.

You'll spend the session exploring simple movements that reveal how your body is currently working.

You'll begin to notice movement patterns and habits you probably didn't know were there. Some will surprise you.

Everything is done at your own pace and there is no pressure to "get it right". You don't need to have done anything like this before.

I'll explain why they matter and introduce a simple three-step process you can use to better understand your body, improve recovery and build movement that lasts.

  • The chance to see, perhaps for the first time, how your body may be overloading certain areas without you even knowing it..

Hi I'm Julie, movement and recovery coach at Your Peak Potential.

For years I felt like I was chasing pain around my body. I was fit, strong and doing all the things I thought were supposed to keep me healthy. I was tired of regular treatments without ever really understanding why the problems kept coming back.

I didn't just want someone to fix me. I wanted to understand my own body and take control of the problem myself.

That led me to spend years bringing together movement, yoga, breathing, recovery and coaching into a simple three-step process that helps people understand their body, get out of pain and keep doing more of what they love.
